Distinguished Service Award winners announced by
Waynesburg Chamber of Commerce

The Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce has selected their 2011 Distinguished Service Award recipients. Chosen for the individual award was John E. Mariner. The Waynesburg Lions Club was selected as the organization winner. Dr. Thomas W. Mering will also be honored with a posthumous Distinguished Service Award. More information can be obtained here.

Senior Life recently held a Business After Hours event at their new Waynesburg location. Below are photos from that event.

The third edition of the Chamber's "Welcome to Waynesburg" book, sometimes known as the "Green Book", is now in the office. A big thank you goes out to all the advertisers who supported the production of the publication. The book provides beautiful full color photos and text that showcases the Waynesburg Area.

The books will be used to promote the area to potential new residents and businesses along with tourists. For copies of the publication please call the office at 724-627-5926.
