2008 Halloween Spooktacular

Waynesburg Borough and Waynesburg Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the first annual Spooktacular Downtown Merchant Costume Contest on October 31st on the steps of the Greene County Courthouse. The contest was open to employees of businesses located within the Borough and 25 contestants participated. Lunch was available through a hot food and bake sale by the Mission Group at St. Ann's Church. Awards were sponsored by Waynesburg Prosperous & Beautiful and was presented to the following:

Best Overall - received a $50 Destination Downtown Gift Card and a custom carved pumpkin done by Shane Gottschalk, intern and donated by Waynesburg Agway
